Whoaaa. Fancy stuff! That’d be duper cool.
MA was an experience. Our flight got canceled and we had to spend the night after a very long day of other fails but it was nice. I did better than I thought I would on the audition. Thanks for asking!

Practice Session #4
Elgar Cello Concerto in E minor Op. 95 II
In this excerpt I find the harmonics to be dead give aways of intontation failure. A jumble of notes occur towards the end when my fingers do not align with my bow speed. Dynamics-wise, it is better than a lot of the other takes. But I still need more contrast.

Practice Session #3
Elgar Cello Concerto in E minor II
This has a lot of color changes that are hard to master. The double stops are tricky. Upon review of the tape, I know now to not get weak in the top of my register, make the ends of phrases better, and not rush a certain passage. I’m also going to try to think more about anchoring the bottom note of my double stops.
